All of our staff are experienced investigators with preference to law enforcement, intelligence and superior computer backgrounds. Our investigators must successfully complete a background investigation, finger printing and security clearance by the Calgary Police Service (CPS). All of our investigators are licensed by Alberta Solicitor General under the Private Investigators and Security Guards Act.

Mr Tim Houghton
CEO & Executive Director for Investigations.
Mr Houghton joined Hammer & Associates after retiring from the world renowned New Scotland Yard, Metropolitan Police, London, England.
His twenty year Detective career encompassed the investigation of fraud, corruption, Hi-Tech crime, drugs production/importation and distribution, serious sexual assaults, siege negotiation and kidnapping. He is trained and experienced in Executive Protection and anti-surveillance techniques. He retired after being a Homicide Detective for seven years.
He has extensive contacts within the International Intelligence gathering community and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the company.
Mr Houghton is highly trained and experienced in the field of vulnerable and non-compliant witness interviewing, using the most advanced techniques available.
He is considered an expert in the science of forensic examination of scenes of crime, having been appointed Senior Crime Scene Manager for Internal Investigations, New Scotland Yard. He has been called upon to investigate deaths and fatal shooting incidents on a National basis across the 52 Police Forces of the United Kingdom.
He has extensive experience of National and International investigations and is still used as an expert witness by several International Police Services. He has been called upon to investigate politically sensitive and complex issues in North America, Africa, India, Pakistan, the Caribbean Islands and most of the countries of Europe.
